We are currently looking for a Business Developer WITH PREVIOUS SALES EXPERIENCE IN OUR INDUSTRY to support our growth.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Identify target markets and potential clients including appropriate research on their business and language needs
• Identify and follow up on qualified leads, pursue and acquire new clients with a focus on specific industry sectors
• Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision-makers
• Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure excellence in meeting client requirements
• Develop market strategies by researching lists of high-potential prospects
• Manage sales pipeline, ensure up-to-date and accurate records in CRM
• Maintain relationships & maximize revenue from current clients
• Attend industry and networking events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing or other relevant areas
• 2+ years’ of sales or account management experience in the translation industry
• Experience in selling services and consultative selling approach
• Understanding of the translation and localization industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English, other languages are a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Office suite
• Self-starter, autonomy in identifying business opportunities; knowledge of Sales methodology and tools, including cold calling
• Excellent negotiation skills based on value selling
