DANISH TRANSLATION SERVICES

With over 15 years of experience providing translation services from and into Danish, you can rest assured that our expert translators have the local knowledge to connect with your target markets.

If you are planning to do business in Denmark, it’s important to be aware that although most Danes speak English, this is not always the case. English is not widely spoken compared to other European languages, like German. Translating your content will allow you to communicate with all your potential customers.

At Ampere Translations we specialize in translations for the Danish market, bringing the technical knowledge your translation needs and crafting texts that resonate with your audience.

About the Danish language

Danish is the official language of Denmark, spoken by almost six million people, and it is also the co-official language of the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Interestingly, about 20% of the population of Greenland speaks Danish.

If you can speak Danish, you’ll find it easy to understand Norwegian and Swedish because it belongs to the same North Germanic family tree as Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish and Faroese.

There are many phonetic similarities between English and Danish; for example, hjerte is “heart”. Over the centuries, Danish has changed more than the other Scandinavian languages; it has borrowed from Lower German, French and English and has thus managed to evolve and modernize itself, making it a very rich language that native speakers are proud of!

Specialists in Danish translations

We do not only provide translation services from Danish into English and vice versa. Our team of translators work in many other language combinations such as Danish into German and Danish into Dutch. If you are looking for a single-language service provider to meet all your translation needs, we have you covered.

Ampere Nordic works with the most talented professionals, all of whom are native speakers and experts in their fields. Get in touch to explore how we can help you.
